Redesign the Butcher's Daughter menu to have the menu be more authentic to the restaurant and it's values. The butcher's daughter is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant, which is ironic giving the name.
The concept for this menu was to include colours that resonate with the restaurant. Since the Butcher's Daughter is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant the colours green was a obvious choice. The direction I was going for the layout is simple but easy to navigate.
This was a earlier version of the first page of the menu. The feedback I got was to separate the add ons on a different line to make it clear that they are add ons. To do that I had to separate the larger plates section in two to fit them. This benefited the design because it provided more space in which then I could enlarge the body copy for the ingredients.
The final product didn't change much from the earlier version. There were some colour changes with the circle at the top right. There was too much pink in the earlier version, so I added more green in the design. The prices are underlined with colour, the reason they are this way is just to be a bit different in how the prices are presented. When I emplemented the feedback from the earlier version, it elevated the design and made the menu items seem like they can breathe again.
